don't you think you've paid enough
smile polite and repeat
and soon to me you're out of touch

the one you put your heart in
turned away and left you cold
when you can't trust a good friend
what's the point in having them at all

I don't want to be sceptic, but baggage moves light in a different way. I don't want to be sceptic, but you're slowly making me that way.

there's a smug security and a sense of lameness in this place
