Coasting
Broken words and broken put me downs, it used to be better than this
im just coasting im not really here, it used to be better than this
its like we're reading from a well known script
and I know all of my lines well
it's like your favourite clothes that just don't fit and all my new ones aren't as good
I've grown apart and still held on, why does that seem so hard to everyone
I go home I walk under a brisk night, the only thing that changes is the tim between.
beloved are the ones without direction, they're just coasting just like me
And I would love to be above the water, floating above not falling below, but im not walking away anymore and im not walking through the same door.
Set your world to stay the same, carve out your name so it wont change.
